Wildly creative.
Strategically rooted.
I have nearly two decades of marketing experience and I’d like to put it to work for you.
Hey! I’m Shannon.
I started my marketing and communications career back in 2007 working in collegiate athletics for my alma mater, Florida State (Go Noles!).
Since then, I’ve increased ticket sales and memberships for a nonprofit museum, helped grow a CPG-focused corporation to over $1B in annual sales, and launched a new SaaS brand from the ground up.
Along the way, I’ve honed a broad skillset that includes copywriting, graphic design, public relations, web design, market research, campaign planning, event management, and social media strategy. I’ve been both a one-woman marketing department and a leader of a global team spanning three continents and I’ve learned that either can be incredibly effective with the right strategy in place.

My marketing philosophy
Forget trends, shiny objects, and flashy software. Great marketing comes down to four core pillars:
1. Branding & Positioning
The foundation of everything. This includes your visual identity, brand voice, mission, and vision — the story that defines who you are and what you stand for.
2. Audience Insights
Whether you’re selling products, services, or a mix of both, you have to understand your audience — who they are, why they buy, and how they make decisions.
3. Content & Outreach
Today’s landscape is crowded with platforms and messages. The key is showing up authentically in the right places to tell your story and connect with your audience.
4. Measurements & Analytics
Marketing without data is just guessing. Tracking and analyzing key metrics is the only way to measure ROI and keep improving over time.
No matter how we work together, I bring my full experience to the table. Every strategy, campaign, and creative idea benefits from the lessons I’ve learned over nearly two decades in this field.

A little more about me
I’m a native Floridian with double degrees from Florida State University including a B.S. in Public Relations and M.S. in Sports Administration.
I relocated to Colorado a few years ago and am enjoying the opportunity to explore mountain life in Denver.
When I’m not in my home office, you’ll find me hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, catching a show at Red Rocks, volunteering at a local horse rescue, cheering on my favorite teams, or convincing my Florida roots that snow is fun.
I’m also an author, artist, and amateur musician. You can explore that creative side of my life at shannononeil.net.
